Winter Sports

So, I moved to Colorado a couple of years ago and thought i’d try my hand at skiing. After 3 years of trying and not getting on too well (I can just about make it down the easiest of Mountains) I’ve decided to hang up my (Ski) Boots and have a go at snowboarding. As it turns out, that probably wasn’t the smartest move. Last weekend while snowboarding I managed to fall over so many times that I’ve hurt muscles I didn’t even know existed. So after buying a Snowboard and learning that I’m not exactly what you’d call a natural, I now need to find a bag to store my ‘board in (let’s face it, it’s safer for everyone in storage). So given my clear lack of experience in this department I could use some advice. I’ve been looking at this Burton Space Sack. Is this a good buy? My board is a 153.

Denver International Airport

Tignanello Handbags I am currently sat in Denver International Airport waiting for my parents to arrive. They are flying in from London for a couple of weeks - so excited to see them. Being an eBagger, it’s always interesting to see the different bags that people have around the airport.

I have a Tignanello handbag waiting for my mum at home that I bought for her from eBags… she’s going to love it! :-)

eBags Customer Care Rallies…

I want to say a big thank you to the eBags customer care team, and let you know that my thoughts are with you!

Manila in the Philippines is the home of the eBags customer care center. Last weekend, Manila experienced severe flooding and devastation as a result of tropical storm Ondoy. Many reports state that the rainfall alone was the worst the Philippines has seen in 40 years and compared the devastation to Hurricane Katrina in the US. When the storm began to peak late Saturday, Manila time, we had eBaggers who were not able to leave work because transportation in the city of Manila was already impossible. So, we had a team of agents that stayed at the office from Friday through the Saturday shift handling all calls and emails, as well as coordinating efforts for all to get home safely at the end of the day. In addition, there were two agents who actually traveled through the storm to report to work for their Saturday shift.

You guys are awesome… thanks so much for your dedication to providing excellent service for eBags customers.

UPDATE: eBags will be sending assistance and employee donations to help our fellow eBaggers overseas whose homes were devastated in the flood. Again, thank you for all that you do from everyone here in Denver. Our thoughts are with you.

Forget pajamas, buy Tommy Bahama!

Tommy Bahama Luggage Essentials Embroidered City Bag I don’t know about you, but I have enough pajamas, socks and Holiday Sweaters to last me for years! Save yourself from another year of disastrous Holiday Gifts and put Tommy Bahama luggage on your list this year - it’s my favorite brand of the moment!

Admittedly I’m a bit of a luggage-a-holic, and I’m always looking for sometime cool and funky that makes me feel good but Tommy has really hit the spot for me. The luggage is a little bit different and funky so you can see it coming round the luggage carousel but not so much so that you’re embarrassed to be seen with it. I particularly like the Embroidered City Bag. I can always fit everything I need into it, and Tommy logo on the side reminds me of the summer… and I’m clinging to summer for as long as I can! I also have the 26″ Wheeled Duffle… this thing is tremendous. I swear I could fit my kids in it (if I had any!)

So join me in a protest against bad holiday gifts and get yourself some Tommy Bahama luggage… it’ll bring a smile to your face every time you use it.
