Cool, Chic and Eco-Friendly we ♥ this KEEN Harvest III Messenger Bag made from un-deployed, side impact air bags! Even better they’re all one-of-a-kind and proudly Made in the USA!

If you’re like me, when you were a kid, you carried a pretty plain backpack. Functional, but not necessarily fashionable. Well, today’s kids - especially girls - are often looking for something a little more expressive or stylish. Whether in grade, middle, or high school, the plain old black backpack sometimes just won’t do.
So today we’ve put together a mix of our best-selling and best-loved pattern backpacks to help check the backpack off your Back to School shopping list. Comment and tell us what your favorite is or feel free to suggest other packs that should be on this list.
Admittedly many of our best-selling Back To School backpacks tend to be from traditional school backpack brands. However, one backpack from a fashion brand is bucking the trend - The Sak Artist Circle Backpack. Once you take a look at this bag, it’s not hard to understand why it has risen in popularity so dramatically over the last few weeks.
What We Love
- It’s got style! Unlike your boring solid black backpacks, this pack comes in 3 lively prints with tons of color - perfect for the school girl who wants to complement her fashionable outfit with a fashionable accessory.
- It’s got organization! Just as you’d expect from any school backpack, the Artist Circle Backpack has pockets for all your necessities and room for books and papers with easy access via the exterior back zipper. It even comes with a matching, removable cosmetic case perfect for storing your lipstick, cell phone, pens, and pencils.
- It’s got multiple uses! This isn’t just a school backpack. It can also be used as a daypack or backpack handbag for running errands, hanging out downtown, or traveling.
- It’s on trend! If you love florals, stripes, or funky designs, this Back To School season is for you. Fashion pattern backpacks are so hot right now and the Artist Circle Backpack falls right in line with the trend.
What This Bag Isn’t
Of course while we love this bag, don’t expect it to satisfy every student’s needs. Carry a ton of books with you because you don’t have a locker? This probably isn’t the bag for you. Look for something with a support system like sternum straps to help support the load. Carry a large laptop plus books plus gym clothes? Again, this backpack probably won’t fit your needs. Look for something larger with a built-in laptop sleeve.
The Verdict
Perfect for middle school, high school, and college students alike, the The Sak Artist Circle Backpack is a great choice when you need to carry school essentials, but you don’t want to settle for something boring.
The JanSport SuperBreak is known for its yearly introduction of new exciting patterns and color combinations. Below are some of our favorites this year!
Black/Multi Reptile: Exotic meets rainbow in this cheerful print perfect for kids this Back To School. Let them express themselves this year with fun colors.
Blinded Blue Hippy Skip: A bit of retro comes back with this tie-dye pattern in cool blue and green shades. It’s a great print for junior high and high school girls who want to sport a little of the boho chic look.
Pink Prep/coral Sparkle Flashback Zebra: A long name, but an easy print to remember. It’s a pink on pink zebra print that’ll show your child has a girly but wild side to her style.
Black/Rasta London Plaid: Schooltime plaid meets rasta colors in this print reminiscent of lights at night time. It’s a great way to wear black without carrying something as boring as solid black.
Purple Sky/Multi Watercolor: Swirls of color like a sunset is the best way to describe this print. With hints of purple, pink, and orange, this is the perfect choice for any girl headed back to school.

DAKINE Academy: Nothing says school like a bag named “Academy”. This backpack, part of the DAKINE Women’s bag collection, is smaller than some of the huge packs we’ve featured above, yet it still has room for your books and a laptop (fits most 14″ laptops). An organizer pocket keeps small items handy while the insulated cooler pocket can help keep snacks cool. There’s also a sunglass pocket that’s plush lined to help prevent your lenses from scratching. The Academy is perfect for students who want a stylish bag, but don’t need an oversized pack for heavy loads. |
 |

Back To School backpacks might make you think of bags for students in middle school, high school, and beyond, but younger grade school kids need school bags to carry their supplies in too. This year at eBags, we are excited to share our large selection of cute kids backpacks including styles featuring popular characters like Disney Princesses, LEGO, Spongebob Squarepants, and Disney Cars.
When shopping for a kids backpack for school, style and design is not only important, but size is as well. Younger and smaller kids will need smaller backpacks to match their smaller torsos. There are even rolling kids backpacks designed to keep weight completely off small backs and shoulders.

If you’ve got a law student on your holiday gift list this year, you might want to give them something that will help them in their school and career pursuit. Below are some great holiday gifts for law students that will help them look professional now and in the future.
Briefcases: Whether carrying books to class or important papers to court, a briefcase is the perfect gift for law students who want to look professional, successful, and ready to work hard. Today’s briefcases take many different forms depending on the user’s style. Traditional briefcases and attaches are ideal for formal business occasions. These are most often made from high quality leathers and give their carriers a truly executive appearance. For a more casual look, consider leather messenger bags which are still career-appropriate but slightly less formal. Leather messenger bags also have the added benefit of often including dedicated laptop sleeves perfect for students who prefer to carry computers or tablets on campus and beyond. Wheeled cases are a great choice for students who want to carry a lot without strain on the back and shoulders.
Padfolios: A leather padfolio makes a statement when you’re taking notes of any kind. A law student will appreciate the professional look that a padfolio lends when in case, taking notes on a case, and interviewing for jobs. Padfolios not only include a notepad and room for loose papers, but they also often include holders for pens and room for business cards. Padfolios are also often an affordable holiday gift for law students.
Writing Instruments: A pen is a must in school and in career when you need to take notes or jot things down and a computer just won’t suffice (or a computer isn’t nearby). A stylish writing instrument makes an excellent gift for professionals including lawyers and, of course, future lawyers. Some pens are simply stylish while others, like the Nite Ize Inka Pen, are high tech offering interesting features such as watertight construction and the ability to write at any angle wet or dry. Not only are these gifts functional, but they are also conversation pieces for the recipient.
