Ok, for those of you out there like me, a total SciFi (SYFY) nut! I like to watch for cool gear that you can get that you see on shows. One of the most recognized is Dave Tango from Ghost Hunters. His headphones are always awesome, I think Steve has headphone envy to be honest. Any who, for those wanting to find those headphone, here they are! SkullCandy has awesome headphones!
They come in 7 colors! Awesome!
Trendy handbags are great - but sometimes only for a little while. What happens when oversized becomes overdone or plaid becomes passé? Time to get a new bag.
But with certain handbag types, like black leather handbags, you don’t have to worry about this. Black leather handbags continue to be highly sought after and carried by many women because they are so timeless and go with just about any outfit and every color.
One black bag that continues to be a best-seller on eBags is The Sak Silverlake Convertible Satchel. This classic satchel is actually two bags in one. Just slide the shoulder strap out of the bottom loops and connect it again over the top and you’ve got yourself a hobo. Perfect for everyday, this bag is a great value and will last you for a long time.
A great choice in a designer black leather tote is the Kate Spade Roland Park Cecilia. It’s the elegant way to carry all your essentials including files and magazines. Comes with a detachable cross-body strap so you can wear it as a shoulder bag or messenger and 14-karat light gold plated hardware. A truly fashion-forward carryall.
Looking for a black leather handbag that’s more affordable? Check out the Aurielle-Carryland Bordeaux Hobo. At just under $50, this hobo is stylish and affordable. It features silver hardware, contrast stitching, and multiple interior and exterior pockets.
With black leather handbags you can can feel confident making the investment knowing that the bags will last you through many seasons. There’s certainly nothing wrong with purchasing that latest rocker bag that catches your eye (afterall, if it caught your eye, it’ll catch many others too). But if you’re looking for an everyday bag that you won’t need to replace for a while, black leather handbags are where you should start.
So, I moved to Colorado a couple of years ago and thought i’d try my hand at skiing. After 3 years of trying and not getting on too well (I can just about make it down the easiest of Mountains) I’ve decided to hang up my (Ski) Boots and have a go at snowboarding. As it turns out, that probably wasn’t the smartest move. Last weekend while snowboarding I managed to fall over so many times that I’ve hurt muscles I didn’t even know existed. So after buying a Snowboard and learning that I’m not exactly what you’d call a natural, I now need to find a bag to store my ‘board in (let’s face it, it’s safer for everyone in storage). So given my clear lack of experience in this department I could use some advice. I’ve been looking at this Burton Space Sack. Is this a good buy? My board is a 153.
It’s that time of year again. Time to fall back an hour. So this Sunday, don’t forget to set all your clocks back including your car, watch, microwave, and handbag. Handbag? Yep, you read it right. There are actually handbags with working clocks in them, and if you carry one, you’ll need to adjust it this weekend as well.
Who makes these clock bags? Ashley M. My personal favorite is the Plaid Clock Bag, but you can also find these clock totes featuring leopard print, zebra print, black patent material, Marilyn Monroe, and Elvis. They’re the stylish way to tell the time. And best of all - batteries ARE included. Bet you haven’t heard that phrase in a while.
When you think of fall handbags, do you think of deep oranges, browns, and reds? Well, how about purple? Yes, purple…mulberry, violet, orchid, heliotrope. Anyway you say it, purple handbags are hot right now.
Purple is traditionally associated with royalty and nobility, but unless everyone thinks they’re actually a princess, I doubt that’s the reason purple is so popular at the moment. Rather I think that purple is simply one of those deep, rich colors that is perfect for fall and winter outfits. You don’t want a bag that screams “flowers” and “summer sun” but you also don’t want something drab. And purple goes with so many other colors from black to dark green to blue to red.
So if you’re among the many searching for purple handbags this season, you might like the GUESS Shine Candy Small Trap Tote. At $85.00, this bag is truly affordable style with just enough bling to make it and you sparkle. Looking for a designer handbag? Try the Gustto Gofre Collection Marga Bag. The detailing on this bag make it truly an eye-catching find.
Price as of 10/22/09. Subject to change.
It was a time of big hair and bright colors. A time when you felt naked if you left your house without 2 or more Swatch watches and you wouldn’t think of missing an episode of Knight Rider or Punky Brewster. When cassettes were what you listened to and Atari was state of the art. It was the eighties.
The 80’s are making a comeback - or at least various 80’s trends are. Bright colors are in again. Some music is reminiscent of 80’s pop and some songs are even covers of 80’s songs (have you heard Seether’s “Careless Whisper” or Fall Out Boy’s “Beat It”?). Plus, admit it, you still wish you were a Goonie, don’t you? So I thought it only appropriate that I feature some 80’s bags today. Not literally bags from the 1980’s, but these Loungefly bags that feature 80’s icons from Hello Kitty to Kermit the Frog.
Have you ever thought, “Wow it would be neat to carry a handbag in the shape of a dog or a rabbit or even a blowfish”? Well, we just added a new brand on eBags that will allow you to do just that.
Introducing Timmy Woods handbags! These out of this world wooden handbags are hand made out of fallen Acacia trees and fashioned to look like everything from animals to teddy bears to even a nail polish container.
Inspired by wooden boxes, Timmy Woods bags have been spotted on the arms of young and old Hollywood alike - from Heidi Klum and Sarah Jessica Parker to Liz Taylor.
Check out some of the Timmy Woods collection below:
Today I went to Star Wars In Concert in Denver and absolutely loved it. Star Wars, live orchestra, giant HD screens…what could be better? While I was there, a thought occurred to me, if Star Wars characters were real, what bags would they carry? What bags should they have carried in the movies? So I went to work searching eBags for the most Star Wars appropriate bags. And while we don’t carry bags in the shape of R2-D2 or Boba Fett, I did find some that would work for some of the most popular characters. So, enjoy these Star Wars bags!

Maxpedition OPERATOR TACTICAL ATTACHÉ - CAMO: What bag can hold it all and match Leia’s camo poncho? This Maxpedition bag can. Chewbacca
 |
Osgoode Marley Small Vertical Messenger: Chewbacca was truly ahead of his time - carrying a man bag. But his bag was a simple leather cross-body pouch. This bag from Osgoode Marley, while seemingly simple, is actually much better. The cashmere leather is truly soft to the touch - a little bit of luxury for this soft giant.
