Our lips have been sealed since Fashion week in February when we bared witness to the color collections that would inspire Fall and Winter fashion for 2013. With Fall quickly approaching, it seems only fitting to let you in on fashion’s biggest secret and give you the inside look on Pantone’s Fall/Winter color collection.
For the 2013 season, we have seen designers express the ever-changing moods of Fall with expertly crafted collections that will be sure to brighten up any cold day! “Just as the leaves change in autumn, the consumer will enjoy the ability to change their ‘look’ and try a new approach to their wardrobe for brisk days ahead,” said Leatrice Eiseman, executive director of the Pantone Color Institute®. “The fall 2013 palette allows for that versatility and experimentation
With the coming season, we will see the greens from spring and summer change and evolve in to their hibernated state while “The Color of the Year,” Emerald continues to shine, and enhance every outfit.
Emerald isn’t the only green hue stealing the show, as this yellow-toned Linden Green steps in to brighten even the deepest shades of fall.
Working our way to blues and purples, we see the color, Acai adding richness and irrefutable elegance to every wardrobe. You can pair this complementary shade with Emerald to create a stately identity to your outfit.
Mykonos Blue makes a bold and refreshing appearance in this fall color lineup. You can try pairing this color with Emerald for a relaxed and classic fall look.
Whatever comes to mind when you hear the color name, Samba, is exactly how you should strut in this red and expressive color. You can pair the deep Acai with Samba to exaggerate you fashion statement which will be sure to turn everyone’s head to your direction.
Koi will prove to be one of the most celebrated and exercised colors this season. It is a statement color that will be sure to liven up every wardrobe and can be paired swimmingly with all of your leather handbags (pun intended).
Succulent is the exact word to describe the color, Deep Lichen Green. We would definitely pair this with color with black to create a sharp, yet cool look to your outfit.
Va-Va-Va Vivacious! Something about this color tempts me to buy a flamenco dress, but sticking to fall trends, I believe I will settle for blouses, tops and pencil skirts.
Turbulence is the color I would love to have on my nails all season! This strong neutral puts the finishing touches on every outfit and can never be mis-paired.
Carafe. The last and final color in the Pantone 2013 report. This rich brown is another strong neutral that will look great with any leather handbag and one can never add enough textures to their outfit to really make this color pop!
