 Thrill seekers and water park enthusiasts alike will gather at Schlitterbahn, Kansas City Waterpark the on 4/25 to measure what is being predicted as the tallest waterslide in the world!

The, Verrückt, a German word for, “insane,”  and incidentally the name for what is predicted to be the tallest waterslide in the world, is set to be open in the Schlitterbahn Waterpark in Kansas City this May! Those brave enough to take a ride on this waterslide will have to first climb a whopping 264 steps before reaching the top and will have to brave speeds up to 65mph!

The Verruckt Meg-A-Blaster

The Verruckt Meg-A-Blaster is expected to surpass the heights of the Statue of Liberty and Niagara Falls!

“Imagine a combination of a speed slide and a water coaster,” says park spokesman Layne Pitcher. “It’s going to be a thrilling experience unlike anything you can get anywhere else.” All that are willing to take the plunge are advised to ride with their most trusted friends, because  as the park says on its website, “It’s more fun if someone is screaming in your ear.”
